Ellen Konkle - Associate Director of Development of Affinity Connection

Since 2006, Ellen Konkle has serviced clients who are in various stages of major fundraising efforts, including consulting with clients on their annual funds, capital campaigns, special projects and volunteer management programs. An independent consultant with Affinity Connection, Ellen is responsible for the high-touch, specialty projects that can help organizations accomplish anything, from multi-million dollar fundraising and marketing campaigns to re-engaging the alumni and changing the culture at the house. In 2008 alone, Ellen’s clients raised more than $5 million dollars in their combined efforts.

Ellen served as Program Director with The Second Mile prior to joining the Affinity team, where she worked with thousands of volunteers in a variety of programs that served at-risk children.

While attending Penn State Ellen was a member of Theta Kappa Pi (currently Phi Mu). She also held the offices of Executive Board Chair and See-Saw Marathon Philanthropy Chair. Currently residing in Bellefonte, Pa., Ellen is the president of The State College Area Jaycees. She enjoys cooking, reading, the great outdoors on skis or foot, and a good evening with friends and a few board games.
