Greg Woodman strives to use his 30 years of consumer marketing strategy and implementation to benefit the non-profit world and membership based groups. In September of 2000, Greg launched Affinity Connection, Inc. after purchasing Stewart Howe Alumni Service.
Since his undergraduate days at Penn State, Greg has developed, created and launched a wide array of marketing content, materials and publications. While at Penn State, he launched Happy Valley Promotions and founded the Penn State Football Annual. He also co-founded Blue White Illustrated, created the special-interest publication, Experience HappyValley, as well as developed Stand Up Joe Paterno. In addition, he published college football annuals at Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State and Syracuse. In 1991, he founded the Pennsylvania Business Central newspaper that covered businesses in 11 counties of central Pennsylvania.
Prior to Affinity Connection, Greg was integral in the sales growth of AIRWALK International from $16 million to more than $250 million, and the sale of the AIRWALK brand while serving as SVP of Sales and Marketing. He was named Footwear Industries of America's Marketer of the Year and one of Advertising Age's Power 50 Marketers. Greg was also named Pennsylvania’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 1984 by The Small Business Administration.
Greg founded Affinity Connection’s sister company, HappyValley.com, and serves as Chairman of the Penn State Entrepreneur Minor Advisory Board and is a board member of the YMCA. He is an advisor to his chapter of Kappa Delta Rho fraternity and is an assistant scout master in Boy Scouts, which his three sons are active in. He holds a BA from Penn State University.
