Laura Fiochetta - Marketing Communications Strategist of Affinity Connection
Laura joined Affinity Connection in February 2011 and brings with her nearly 9 years of marketing communications experience. She is a fanatic about “driving” projects so that they are completed on-time and on-budget. Laura’s career spans both the corporate and non-profit world.
Laura’s corporate background includes work as Nextel Communication’s senior marketing manager where she managed the creative development and placement of Nextel’s national brand and promotional marketing efforts, including the nationwide launch of the Nextel/NASCAR sponsorship. She also spent 5 years working as a client services manager and strategic marketing counsel at KSK Communications, a high-tech brand agency located outside Washington, D.C.
On the non-profit side, Laura held a product marketing role at the National Headquarters of the American Red Cross. In this position, she developed one-to-one response marketing programs to increase revenue and build customer loyalty. Prior to that and through her work with Artsmarketing Services, she managed audience development and fundraising campaigns for such clients as National Symphony Orchestra, Royal Ontario Museum, Mt. Sinai Hospital/Toronto, Great Lakes Theatre Festival, and Baltimore’s chapter of the American Red Cross.
Laura received her degree in Theater Arts (minor in economics) from Sweet Briar College. In addition, Laura spent a year studying international economics and dramatic literature at University of London.
