Jodie Dello Stritto of Affinity Connection Makes Pennsylvania Business Central’s List of “Women Making a Difference”

Jodie Dello Stritto(State College, PA) — Jodie Dello Stritto, vice president of consulting services at Affinity Connection, a State College based company, was chosen by Pennsylvania Business Central (http://www.pabusinesscentral.com) as one of the women “making a difference” in the business world. Jodie has been a leader at Affinity Connection since the time she joined the team in 2002. She manages a range of areas including content services and strategic consulting and product development along with marketing communications for HappyValley.com (http://www.happyvalley.com).

Affinity Connection CEO, Greg Woodman said, “Jodie has helped our company position itself for success. Her progressive outlook and unique background experience has been a major asset to our customers and to Affinity Connection.”

Pennsylvania Business Central created the Women Making a Difference list to highlight the efforts women are making and achieving in business across the PBC’s twenty county coverage area. The organizing body of this award selected women who made an impact within their own organization, whose expertise helped the greater business community, or those women whose intelligence and business intellect influenced their industry. These women will continue to make an impression on their business industry throughout their career.

A few of Jodie’s current clients provided insight into the quality and commitment she provides to their cause.

“Jodie Dello Stritto has been an amazing help to Bishop Carroll Catholic High School. The company she works for (Affinity Connection) was hired to assist us with our marketing efforts but through Jodie’s guidance, she and her associates have been much more than that. Jodie makes a total commitment to her clients and has been there for us, morning, noon and night. Her attention to detail is unmatched and her insight and focus on new ideas is very fresh. I can't say enough about how she has helped our school. She is so deserving of this award and I would recommend her to any business that wanted to step up their marketing efforts. On a scale to 10 she has put Affinity Connection over the top at 11!!” said Roy Holtz, Chairman of the Board, Bishop Carroll Catholic High School.

"Jodie has a sincere interest in our library and keeps us focused on success. She knows how to provide us with options for fundraising, and we have made significant gains in our annual fund drive and donor communications because of her strategy and support." said Schlow Library Director, Cathi Alloway.

"It's easy to see why Jodie was selected for this award. She is a driver for positive achievement. There are few in the business community who are so easy to work with and still accomplish what they say they will," said Richard Bartnik, Omega Chapter of Theta Chi.

Jodie enjoys many aspects of her job but most importantly she loves helping her clients overcome challenges and make major strides toward their goals and objectives. Prior to joining the Affinity Connection team, Jodie worked as a senior account executive for MARC Advertising in Pittsburgh, where she directed marketing and public relations programs for major corporations and large non-profit organizations. She has delivered her expertise to Affinity Connection, where she most recently has been involved with spearheading and implementing strategic programs for several local and national nonprofit organizations including Schlow Library, Bishop Carroll High School, and LeaderShape.

“I’m excited and honored to be recognized along with such a wonderful group of women. As a working mom I am fortunate to work for a company that offers me balance, and tremendous flexibility and support. It’s so fulfilling to work with worthwhile non-profit organizations and alumni associations on achieving their marketing goals,” said Jodie Dello Stritto, on receiving the award.

Strong friendships and family ties are important to Jodie. She resides in Bellefonte, Pa., with her husband Mark and her daughter, Anna Kay. Jodie earned a BA in English from Bucknell University and graduated from Westmont Hilltop High School in Johnstown, Pa.
