Established in 2000 as Affinity Connection and previously known as Stewart Howe Alumni Association (founded in 1972), we have seen time and time again that relationships are the foundation of successful fundraising.

Working with fraternity alumni groups, nonprofits, and education foundations, our proven method of strategic, results-driven storytelling has helped our clients exceed their growth goals.

Greg is driven to create meaningful connections between individuals and the organizations they care about.

With decades of experience helping mission-driven organizations build deep emotional connections with their donors, Greg genuinely lights up when he is helping people tell stories about the communities and organizations they love.

Dedicated to providing clients with a return on their investment, Greg advocates for the friend-raising approach to fundraising that has helped countless clients achieve fundraising success.

  • In the year 2000, Greg led a team that purchased Stewart Howe Alumni Services, founded in 1972, and renamed the company Affinity Connection.

    Woodman has used his direct marketing experience to transform a niche business that sold fraternity alumni newsletters into a technology-enabled fundraising powerhouse serving a variety of membership and non-profit organizations.

    Woodman established Affinity Connection after an award-winning run as VP of Marketing for AIRWALK Footwear.

    Utilizing direct marketing, Woodman took the footwear industry by storm when he drove AIRWALK’s revenue from $14 million to $200 million in just five years, putting the sneakers in most footwear storefronts across the U.S. and around the world.

    The marketing push, featured in The Tipping Point, Forbes, and numerous footwear industry publications, also put AIRWALK shoes and snowboard boots on the feet of teenagers around the globe, garnering AIRWALK numerous awards for industry innovation and leading to the sale of the brand in 1999.

    A prolific publisher and serial entrepreneur, Woodman has founded numerous publications and promotional platforms, including Pennsylvania Business Central, Happy Valley Promotions, HappyValley.com, Blue-White Illustrated, Experience Happy Valley, and football annuals for Penn State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, and Syracuse.

    He also created and sold the popular “Stand Up Joe” cut-out of Joe Paterno. Woodman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University where he serves as a lecturer on Entrepreneurial Leadership.
